Just in a slum...ya know? On a high note, I just made myself a Mahi Mahi dinner, with baked potato and rice pilaf. On a sad note, I made dinner for two, but I ate by myself. I even called him at work to tell him I was making dinner!! I get home, and he's gone! Probably eating dinner with our roommate. I'm so tired of it.
Trying to keep my mind occupied with things that make me happy...things that don't happen and will probably never happen. False hope, it's so comforting, but extremely useless.

This arduous journey through life continues with a move. I am glad to rid myself of my current job and its ignorance. I hope to have a much better job, surrounded with intelligent people who share my passions. Though I have enjoyed the weather and nature of my current environment, I much prefer my past. Many trials and quests await me in my future, and perhaps a child or two. And so it is...
Ant bites hurt!
It's still burning...stupid ant. I didn't do anything to him. I have absolutely been enjoying working in the garden. My watermelons and cucumbers are getting so BIG! I can't wait till they produce fruit. The wildflowers have sprouted and soon will cover our backyard with pretty colors. The birds know they have food and a bath at their disposal in our yard. An anole has made his home underneath an old door mat that was set out to dry a looong time ago. The compost pile is hard at work composting itself. The bare patch in the yard is finally growing over with grass. It is really turning out to be beautiful!

It's like everyday is the same. Life right? I am so thankful for all the people that don't make it the same. For those who make it more interesting and adventurous! For you who do silly and outgoing things with me that I wouldn't normally do. For you who tempt me and encourage me. I love it when you push me to do things I didn't think I could do, and sometimes even things that I shouldn't do, because I get high off the rush.
To you who know it and don't know it...I love you.
Sometimes, if you beat it hard enough it will come
So, at work, me and 2 girlfriends of mine were cleaning and setting up a cage for a momma dog and 5, 3 week old puppies. We were setting up one of those collapsible crates that you stand up then pull up the front and back and snap into place. Well, one of the girls was trying to pull up one of sides and it was stuck, so she started shaking it and beating it. The other girl was like, "Whoa, calm down, it's just stuck." To which the other girl replied, "Sometimes, if you beat it hard enough, it will come." Naturally, my response was, "That's what she said!!" It took them a couple of seconds, but then they realized how hilarious it was. So that
